Who we are

Abstract Art in Everyday Objects.

Launched at Top Drawer, Kensington Olympia, London in January 2023; InColour Designs (ICD) is the brainchild of Fine Artist Soraia Andersen, whose Fine Art practice specialises in Mixed Media Geometric Abstraction through Painting, Drawing and Collage. She has won numerous awards and accolades for her Fine Art work and her paintings have been showcased around the world and are part of numerous private collections.

Soraia started Fine Art painting aged just 17 and in the same year fell in love with Luxury Retail whilst being trained by Harrods to work her first ever job as a ‘Saturday girl’ for the Harrods’ Silver Room for Royal Selangor.

She learnt her trade by spending her early years working in all the prestigious London Luxury department stores including Liberty London, Fenwick and Harvey Nichols and for luxury brands such as La Mer, Tom Ford, Gucci and Chantecaille.

Marrying traditional Luxury retail values and contemporary Art, ICD was born from a desire to combine the two great loves of her life: Art and Luxury.

Starting out as pen and ink drawings, the drawings are then transferred onto digital format before being hand-printed with eco-friendly water based inks onto exquisite fabrics and materials, creating handmade objects for everyday use – turning the mundane into objet d'art through a striking signature Abstract Art aesthetic.

“My practice truly directs my self-actualisation - as a human being walking a finite path towards my very own extinction, above all - I seek to think deeply about things and make things, whilst thinking deeply.”
