Our Story
Launched at Top Drawer London, Kensington Olympia in January 2023.
Luxury with a conscience.
Unlike many other luxury brands, InColour Designs focuses on conscious luxury. By sourcing luxurious materials and fabrics from the EU where it is heavily regulated and championing both European and British manufacturing.
The brand seeks to create exquisite handcrafted objects but above all only in conditions that serve both the human and the environment.
As such we have taken considerable steps to fulfil one of our core values, sustainability. Along with luxury materials and fabrics we also offer alternatives such as faux suede and vegan leather, we also use recyclable or recycled FSC approved paper, including our tissue paper which is fully compostable.
All of our exquisite objects are made to order by ethical manufacturers that have staff welfare at the center of their work, and in small batches, so we have no waste.
Abstract Art in Everyday Objects.
InColour Designs (ICD) is the brainchild of Fine Artist Soraia Andersen, whose Art practice specialises in Mixed Media Geometric Abstraction through Painting, Drawing and Collage.
Soraia started painting aged 17 and in the same year fell in love with Luxury Retail whilst trained by Harrods to work in the Silver Room for Royal Selangor.
She spent her early years working in Luxury department stores such Liberty London, Fenwick and Harvey Nichols for luxury brands such as La Mer, Tom Ford, Gucci and Chantecaille.
Marrying traditional Luxury retail and contemporary Abstract Art, ICD was born from a desire to combine the two great loves of her life: Art and Luxury.
Starting out as pen and ink drawings, the designs are then transferred onto digital format before being hand-printed with eco-friendly water based inks onto exquisite fabrics and materials, creating handmade objects for everyday use – turning the mundane into objet d'art through a striking signature Abstract Art aesthetic.
